Types of tyres

Solid tyres :
 

•Solid cross-section of tyre material

•Unable to provide cushioning and comfort to the riders

•They are obsolete now

 

Pneumatic Tyres:

• Air filled tyres are known as pneumatic tyres 

• It consists of outer body (the main tyre) and a tube inside 

• The tyre tube combination is mounted on the wheel rim 

• The inside tube is filled with the air
