Construction of Torque Converter

It consists:
Driven member or impellor or pump

•Driving member or rotor or turbine

Reaction member or stationery member or stator

Stator is used for change of torque between input and output shaft

Driven member faces the stator

It is splined to input shaft, which rotates in the reaction shaft and connects curve blades

By this arrangement it projects the most of oil into a hollow cylinder parallel to the axis of
 rotation

Turbine is driven by stream of oil sent to it by pump

Oil enters the blade section near the rim and passes through blades

Entire assembly is filled with oil  and connected to the engine flywheel
