Electric Circuit of the Over Drive



 
Over drive electric controls serves for:
 
Energize the solenoid as the car speed reaches the cut in speed 
 
Disconnect the ignition circuit momentarily 
 
It opens the solenoid circuit when the kick down switch is close as the driver wants to come
  out of over drive  
 
By pushing the knob on the dash board enters in to the over drive, when cut in sped is 
  obtained 
 
When the driver  releases the accelerator pedal momentarily the solenoid sends the pawl 
  into a notch in the sun gear control plate 
 
This puts the transmission in to over drive
